|
Two per year (January and June) - Free to students and their families
plus options for participating in ORMTA recitals, Kiwanis Festival, Ottawa Piano Festival, and music clubs |
Parent involvement
|
Parents of younger students are welcome at lessons.
Parents of older students are free to drop in but don't typically attend lessons. Commitment from parents is essential for progress but hands on involvement is only needed for very young students who may need help reading instructions. Other than that, the parent's job is to encourage and get the student to the piano for daily practice. |
